Saint Sauveur Old Fashioned
Made with Saint Sauveur 1972 Rum
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Saint Sauveur 1972 Rum
- 1/4 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Large ice cube
- Flamed orange peel (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a mixing glass, combine rum, simple syrup, and bitters.
- Add ice and stir until well-chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- Hold a strip of orange peel over the glass.
- Light a match or lighter, gently warm the peel, then quickly squeeze it to express the oils through the flame — creating a dramatic flash.
- Rub the peel around the rim of the glass and drop it in as garnish.
