Made with Saint Sauveur 1972 Rum
Ingredients:
2 oz Saint Sauveur 1972 Rum
1/4 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Large ice cube
Flamed orange peel (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. In a mixing glass, combine rum, simple syrup, and bitters.
2. Add ice and stir until well-chilled.
3. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
4. Hold a strip of orange peel over the glass.
5. Light a match or lighter, gently warm the peel, then quickly squeeze it to express the oils through the flame — creating a dramatic flash.
6. Rub the peel around the rim of the glass and drop it in as garnish.
Flavor Vibe:
Smooth. Sophisticated. Smoky citrus. A Haitian heritage remix on a classic.
